Sigils 101

What are sigils?

Sigils are symbols that are specialized spells infused with contracts.

Sigils can serve as recipes to pre-determined spells, letting the caster use a specific spell without requiring much talent.

Sigils can also sometimes have sealed soul energy, this lets the caster use that energy without exhausting his own reserves.

How to acquire sigils?

Sigils are tied to contract laws which means sigils can only be transferred if both participants actively want this transfer to happen. (yes, being in fear for your life counts as wanting this transfer to happen if you believe it can lead to saving your life)

What do sigils look like?

A sigil's design is naturally formed based on the imagination of the creator and the flow of the soul energy, it doesn't necessarily hold value except for being an unique identifier.

Sigils are usually carried on the body and are activated by focusing energy on them.
